Proactive International PR appointed by Nexus Mediacom to support LPWAN World Forum

Leading public relations consultancy Proactive International PR today announced it has been selected by Nexus Mediacom to support the Low Power Wide Area Networks (LPWAN) World Forum conference in London.

Based in Southwell, Nottinghamshire, Proactive PR has been working alongside Nexus Mediacom to promote the two-day conference – which takes place tomorrow and Thursday – and generally ensure the event runs as smoothly as possible.

Proactive PR has a long and successful history in being appointed as the official PR consultancy for industry-leading events such as the Broadband World Forum, the Cloud World Forum and the LTE World Series. Its roster of conferences today includes the European Conference of Optical Communications (ECOC) and CommunicAsia/BroadcastAsia in Singapore.

Nexus Mediacom CEO Mark Johnstone said: “Proactive International PR has an incredible record when it comes to working with these sorts of events, as well as a long list of very happy clients, and we are delighted to have them on board.”

Proactive PR has already supported Nexus Mediacom for a series of of Smart Home, Smart Cities and Industrial Internet conferences and exhibitions around the world, all of which took place earlier this year.

LPWAN technology could be the key to unlocking the potential of IoT, which is predicated to explode into a multi-billion-dollar market in the next five years. The success of the upcoming conference will be critical for this potential.

“We’re very excited to be partnering up with Nexus Mediacom once again,” said Proactive PR Founder and CEO Brian Dolby. “Supporting conferences and working closely with smart technology firms are areas that have been at the centre of our business since the very beginning and remains a key part of our work today.”
