Proactive PR to provide video services for Bombardier Transportation

Proactive International PR, a leading communications consultancy, today announced it has been selected as an official video supplier for Bombardier Transportation, the UK’s rail technology leader.

The agreement will see Proactive PR – which is headquartered in Southwell, Nottinghamshire – produce a series of films about the Derby-based Bombardier Transportation and its pioneering work in the rail industry.

Proactive PR has already completed its first assignment for Bombardier Transportation, including filming at the rail company’s Litchurch Lane site, in Derby, as it completed manufacture of the 1,395th and final S Stock train for London Underground.

“We chose Proactive PR as our video supplier because of its outstanding track record in providing innovative coverage of major events within the technology industry,” said Bombardier Transportation’s UK Head of Public Relations and Marketing James Rollin. “We look forward to a fruitful working relationship over the next twelve months.”

Bombardier has eight sites and 23 service locations across the UK. Bombardier’s Derby site, which has produced a significant proportion of the UK’s latest technology rolling stock for both mainline train operations and London Underground, forms part of the world’s largest cluster of rail companies.

CEO at Proactive PR Brian Dolby said: “We are thrilled to be working with Bombardier as it embarks on these new and exciting projects. The company is the latest addition to our growing rail portfolio and we are proud to be working so closely with such a big employer here in the East Midlands.”

Proactive PR announced the creation of a new digital marketing division earlier this month under the banner of the Proactive International Group. Proactive International Digital Marketing will ensure both existing and potential clients are offered a fully integrated marketing communications solution.

Proactive PR was launched in April 2010 and quickly grew its customer base around the world, with the majority of customers coming from the technology industry. It is ranked 23rd out of 150 agencies, according to PR Week.
