Proactive International PR, a leading communications consultancy, today announced it has been selected by Nexus Mediacom to support a series of Smart Home, Smart Cities and Industrial Internet conferences and exhibitions around the world.
The agreement will see Proactive PR – which is headquartered in Southwell, Nottinghamshire – work closely with Nexus Mediacom to maximise the profile of the events in Germany, the UK and Singapore. The first conference takes place in Frankfurt next week.
Nexus Mediacom chose to partner with Proactive PR due to the agency’s strong history of being the official PR consultancy for other industry-leading events such as the Broadband World Forum, the Cloud World Forum and the LTE World Series. Its roster of conferences today includes the European Conference of Optical Communications (ECOC) and CommunicAsia/BroadcastAsia in Singapore.
“Proactive PR has an almost unique pedigree of working with technology-based conferences and exhibitions and the team’s experience, coupled with its portfolio of highly relevant clients, made Proactive an ideal choice to support the team,” said Nexus Mediacom CEO Mark Johnstone.
Following the Frankfurt events, Nexus Mediacom will be staging its triple series of shows – Smart Home Summit, Smart Cities Summit and Industrial Internet Summit – at Olympia, in London, on September 21-22 and at the Copthorne Grand Hotel, in Singapore, on November 30 to December 1.
“Conferences and exhibition support have been at the core of our growth and achievements since we started,” said Proactive PR Founder and CEO Brian Dolby. “The whole smart technology arena and industrial internet is very much a part of our day-to-day client work and we are very excited to be working with Nexus Mediacom across its events and geographic regions.”
This is the latest success for Proactive PR which only last week announced that it had been appointed as an official video supplier for Bombardier Transportation, the UK’s rail technology leader.
Proactive PR also launched a new digital marketing division last month under the banner of the Proactive International Group. Proactive International Digital Marketing is a response to increasing demand from customers and services their digital media requirements.
The customer base of Proactive PR has grown quickly since its launch in April 2010, with the majority of customers coming from the technology industry. It is ranked 23rd out of 150 agencies, according to PR Week.
